Work Experience at Glamour Icons. Day 3

Today was just carrying on with cutting out the fabric for the cheerleaders outfits, already feeling more confident with handling the Lycra and had a little more speed! Still loads more to go, so will continue working on that tomorrow as well :)

But the most exciting part of today, was being set a brief to design a bridesmaid dress, ready to start making on Friday! So I've got this evening and tomorrow evening, plus the train journeys tomorrow to get this done and finalised.

It's an open brief, with a few guidelines.

• Bridesmaid dress
• Modern and contemporary
• Consumer age - Young adult
• Nothing long

The fabric to be used is a navy blue stretch lace, with a matching colour satin lining.

So I'm gunna start by putting together a quick moodboard, and gather some inspiration, then get some concept drawings done tonight!
